“The HPC event of 2010 in France”
Ter@tec, the High Performance Simulation and Computing for Competitiveness, Innovation and Deployment forum, will take place on the forthcoming 15th and 16th of June at Ecole Polytechnique, France.
Every year, this forum gathers international experts of the numerical design and simulation fields. It welcomed over 600 people in 2009, showing how dynamic is the HPC sector.
This forum is a major European event, which occurs at a particular moment where HPC has never been so strategic for the economic and industrial development of organizations and states.
This edition will be focusing on HPC usages in increasingly different domains. Plenary sessions will be held by Industry seniors and ICT officials. Other Exhibitions and Workshops will be focusing on specific topics.
Collaviz is organizing on Wednesday the 16th of June one the six workshops proposed during the Forum. This Workshop concerning the “New Paradigms of Scientific Visualization” will gather the Collaviz partners, as well as other important contributors of the Visualization field.
Under the recent evolutions of High Performance Computing (manipulating increasingly important data volumes, collaborating with distant entities, etc.), new paradigms have indeed risen.
Thus, we are pleased to invite you to our Workshop if you would like to learn more about Visualization norms and standards, High Performance Remote Visualization, Collaborative Visualization or Visualization a Decision-making tool.
